Who we are
Our story
Spring Valley Equipment Rental opened in 2026 at 120 E Grant St — a building with deep roots in this community. The property has been a place of business since 1947, when it first opened as a car dealership serving Spring Valley and the surrounding area for generations.
We took over that same space with a simple idea: give homeowners, contractors, and farmers in southeast Minnesota access to quality equipment without the cost of ownership. The building has changed hands, but the commitment to this community hasn't.
Today we stock over 80 pieces of equipment — from mini excavators and skid steers to lawn aerators and trailers — and we're still right here on Grant Street, ready to help you get the job done.
